Place: Chitungwiza, Zimbabwe
Luke was influenced by his grandfather Saidi Sabiti, one of the First Generation Zimbabwean sculptors, under whom he worked for many years.
Luke first started working on small pieces of different types of stone like Springstone, Opal, Stone, Lemon Opal and Verdite. Over a period he developed his own style of abstract sculpture.
His work has been exhibited in Germany, USA, Holland and South Africa.
